He is a person I would consider a friend, a good man and very humble and honest.
When he was running for POTUS I got to know him pretty well. The day he gave his speech at the Iowa Straw Poll (arguably the biggest speech of his political career up to that point) I went to the hotel to pick-up his mom and dad. Great people, very humble - his dad almost made them late getting to Iowa (they drove up from Kansas that day) because they could not leave the farm until the mail was delivered.
Imagine that, nearly missing you son's biggest speech in his life because you wanted to be sure to get the mail.
