Well, I think it would be more accurate to say that it was readily obvious from game 1 that Les had effectively no confidence in Jennings.
That said, I have never figured out why, when you dont' have confidence in your QBs ability to throw, you choose to ONLY throw on 3rd down? This inevitably means that the kid you have no confidence in will be throwing in must throw situations where everyone in the building knows he's going to throw and it is a MUST complete situation.
Les seems to have totally never heard of the "high percentage 1st down pass to settle the kid" concept.

Because a 3rd and 4 is easier to get than a 3rd and 8.its that simple.
