Good. Sup has it right. Go out clean and above board. Believe it or not you have already done the right thing by not hiding where you are going. Shows that you have nothing to hide.

All these tough guys in here sound like they've never been sued. . Whether you can win isn't the question. Avoiding being sued is the way to win. . I don't know your situation but is your new employer willing to cover your legal fees if you get sued? Are you even in a position to ask?
One more: I'm sure you will be able to perform your new job without making use of any confidential info from your old one right?
