Have money ready and learn what you want. Look for 28" or longer barrels. Even entry level Beretta and browning are made to last generations with prior care. There are many gun makers that you are not familiar with that make quality guns. Where do you live? You need to handle some guns to see what feels good. You really want to at least get the LOP close...
