I know 5 guys with them. All repeatedly break axles. The only one that has big aggresive tires is a 900 so I don't really count that. Its broken one and I understand why. The rest are 3 double seaters and 2 electric. All have had to replace MULTIPLE axles and they have all broken doing nothing. A couple broke in the damn yard. Srlsy, I'm gonna have to get something in the next year and I think I'm gonna have to look over Polaris strictly because of this issue.

I have a buddy who has a can am commander. He has broke 3 of the 4 axles in less than a year. He also ripped the tie rod out of the his front end and stripped the rack. Point is all of these things break axles. Go buy a decent set of aftermarket axles and quit worrying about it.

I'd be interested in knowing the age and hours/miles on your friend's Rangers that have have broken axles.

Got a 2010 800, only mechinical repairs is fuel pump recently. It's had 28" mud lite xl's on it since the day it was bought. Narry a axel replaced. Not saying it won't happen but it wouldn't affect my purchase of another ranger
