I've had almost twenty due to sports injuries, dating back to decades ago and spanning up to a year or so ago. Techniques today are so good that there's little to no discomfort. Cost wise, I guess it varies from market to market. You can negotiate with the office, and make payments, but where I'm at(DFW,) I think the last one was under two grand.

You can also ask them if they accept Care Credit. If they do apply for a card on their website and you are instantly told how much you are qualified for. Medical credit card that is interest free if you pay off within 6 months.
