Smackover,
Just curious.Have you ever taken Suboxone?
I'm not wanting to argue with you.I don't want to be right.
The big thing here is obviously MB83's Son.
I'm just curious.Whether you have or not I won't Post anything else about Suboxone, cause I don't want to Hijack.
Take care.

Nope. But I have had to use it for treatment of opiate addiction and understand the pharmacology of the med. Psychological addiction is different from physical addiction. And yes, if someone were to be "hooked" on something...much better a med they can get legally without having to malinger and mislead healthcare professionals than an opiate. Now if someone is on a high dose of suboxone and suddenly quits, they'll feel bad. That's why I said a gradual wean down under an experienced physician is required. I do not rx it personally btw. I have to refer out here in Arkansas. Yet another example of BS regulation. I can rx the med a person gets hooked on, but not the one to get them off. But it is coming out (at least a very similar form) in a diet pill I can rx without any special designations and can even sample.
ETA-just the naloxone is in the diet pill. Not the buprenorphine. It can be habit forming and is controlled but does not stimulate your "pleasure" receptors the way a opiate does.
