Zone run blocking can almost look like pass protect on a lot of plays. Less pancaking and more guiding D where you want them to go with footwork.
It's actually easier taught scheme than man, but road grader man blockers would have limited mobility to execute zone very efficiently.

Thanks for the explanation. And the end of it explains why Hoko has struggled.
