I know dick about astrophysics, but don't we have documented pictures and data of black holes in other galaxies?
Did she provide any explanation as to what these things are?

The biggest take away I got is that based on her findings she does not connect Star death to lead to black hole formation.

How exactly would one take a picture of a black hole?
This study is interesting. People accept certain hypotheses in astrophysics as fact that are far from being proven.
