Isn't grimes' scheme a zone blocking one?

Zone blocking schemes are good for read option/pistol/spread offenses aren't they? Why would Miles bring in a guy who's system doesn't fit what the teams trying to do?

no its the quality of the team.How good does the QB have to be to hand the ball off all night.Then when we play Auburn Jennings will not be good enough again.If your so sure he is the guy at least let him air it out against the lesser teams

Because in his mind he wants to change to more of spread attack, but he knows the ghost of Bo will haunt his dreams forever.

Great point, add to it he recruited two QBs who primarly played out of the shotgun in HS and are used to reading defenses while back away from center
