i dont know what they could 'check' you for without doing a medical examination.

We were told to expect to be run through a bio metric scanner when we landed. If they detected fever or anything out of the ordinary you would be placed in a 21 day quarantine.

I'd imagine the thermal scanners they used for H1N1 back in 2009 might be useful.
