I'm actually surprised that the cops did as much as you claim in your story. It seems that them saying "tough shite" is usually how those stories end when talking about relatively cheap items like ipods.

They didn't do shite. After I got the name and address one rode over to the kids house and asked him if he had it. Kid so no. Cop waddled back to his doughnuts.
