I love Blue Bell and it is the only brand of ice cream I buy. But man do I hate that song. Especially the part above. It may piss me off more because when I was growing up "the kids" knew when the hell we were having homemade ice cream because we were the ones who cranked the handle to make it.

This is true! I don't think Momma was hollering "come and get it". When the kids hollered back "YEAH", she was just gonna say "then you sit your arse on this ice cream freezer and you turn the crank til its done".
