What inconsistencies were there to find? A kidnapping and rape victim (with evidence to prove as much) kills her abductor/rapist and returns to her loving, wrongly accused husband. Why would they investigate further? It's an open and shut case. Case closed. Happily ever after, as far as the FBI is concerned.

Only Boney, Nick, Margot, and Tyler Perry knew the real truth.
