One of the funniest things I've ever seen:
I was helping a friend out by running a Cat 5 in his attic. While I'm going up he warns me about a little "mouse problem". He goes on about how his wife is ready to move because of it. He let's me know to watch out for various mouse traps. I get up there, turn on the light and I see what looks like WW3 with mouse carcasses in every stage of decay possible. I get past that and the walkway takes a 90 degree turn to the left. It was a little dark back there so I take out my flashlight. Not 1 foot in front of me is a large glue trap, a live panicked mouse, and a 4' long rat snake with his face stuck in the trap about an inch from the mouse.
I jumped a little and my friend calls out "what's up, more mice?". I asked him if his wife was serious about moving. He said yes she is. I asked him how she felt about snakes.
If she would have been home they would have left right then and never looked back. I grabbed the snake by the tail and brought it out of the attic. I just wish I had a camera.
