I did not hear the word "Democrat" or the word "Republican" mentioned once in last night's episode. It's actually more of a political thriller than a political drama. The circumstances regarding how Tea Leoni's character became Secretary of State are very suspicious and, with the ending to last night's episode, it looks like a massive conspiracy exists within the CIA and U.S. government.

I'm suspicious of network political shows. If its more about CIA spy drama stuff then I may check it out.

This. In future episodes it may take a turn toward the Left, but it didn't last night.

Plus, Tea Lenoni is hot and smart, on the show and in real life (love her) so she gets a pass for a while even if it does begin to veer Left.
