LSU has talent on offense and Les Miles is to scared to use it. We have some of the best wide receivers in the country. What is Miles afraid of?
Lee. Miles has never recovered from Lee's interceptions and pick sixes. He is afraid to turn his QBs loose. He plays to not lose rather than to win. If he can't out-talent a team, he has rarely if ever out schemed one.
You are playing MSU with one of the best d-lines in the nation. Their weakness seem to be pass defense. We have a receiver leading the SEC in yards per catch and TDs, the number 1 and 3 receivers from the last class, Diarse, Peterson, the tight end who had the best hands in the class 2 years ago. And what was the game plan? Tight formation and try to out talent that powerful d-line.
We should have been in 3 or 4 WR sets the whole game. Even on the goal line plays, we should have been passing the ball. You attack their weakness, not their strength unless you have a distinct and clear talent advantage which we didn't against that d-line. Jennings should used on roll outs rather than stationary in the pocket to get away from the pressure. The o-line couldn't even protect against a 3 man rush at the end.
