With ST very quickly approaching here is a final projection this "offseason" of what our opening day roster will look like

Thanks for the breakdown.

Looking forward and if the goal is to be competitive by 2017, who are some of the big time free agent bats coming available over the next 2 years that we will be targeting?

The pitching staff should be fine with the young arms we have acquired and the ones already in the system. I think its pretty obvious that we will need someone to protect Freeman by 17 if not a couple of guys.

At least we should have some more contact and fewer K's. But CJ batting cleanup and the 6-9 combo are going to be tough to watch.
