Remember how dominate Tre Mason was last year against LSU in the second half, but it was too late for Auburn to win because LSU had built up such a huge lead? Mason didn't get many carries before that game and he was virtually unknown by everyone except Auburn fans. If Auburn would have gave Mason the ball more in their first 3 games, I doubt they would have played close games with Washington State and Miss State. They became a different team after they discovered Mason, just as LSU will be a different team with Harris after last night. The point is that sometimes it takes 3-4 games before a team realizes they have a special player. When Harris went into the game last night, LSU was down 3 scores late in the fourth quarter, but Harris never flinched. Negatigers love to point out that he was playing against Miss State's second string defense on his first TD drive, but did you see how perfect his passes were? Jennings couldn't make those throws all night. The only problem here is that Miles may be too stubborn to make Harris the starter. We play Auburn in 2 weeks and Harris needs as many reps as possible and next week vs New Mexico State is perfect for practice.
Yeah. Perfect analogy. We're going to 'ship now. shite lines, scheming, and Defense be damned.
