If you get beat on the OL four times while trying to pound it into the endzone then you deserve to get beat.

that loss last night broke a couple of team specific records.

Mullins first win over a ranked opponent

MSU's first win against LSU since 1999

MSU's first win against LSU in Death Valley since 1991

Yeah that goal line stand was awful. Had we scored there we have a different game

I'm not even pissed about the playcalling there like everyone else. Four tries. Two yards. OL needs more chest.

On a separate note, I saw a post that i really agreed with. I think we got a glimpse of a "hero complex" with Jennings last night. He had a pitch option on the 4th down that he should have taken. I also remember a tight throw to the endzone later in the game when he had Gordon uncovered in the flat.

Reminded me of Mett @ Ole Miss last year

I think it was probably a young guy trying to do too much but it merits watching going forward

I doubt it. That score wouldn't have prevented MSU from rolling up 302 yards rushing and 570 yards total offense. Wisconsin showed LSU is vulnerable to the run. Miles strategy was to control the ball on the ground to keep the defense off the field. If either the OL or DL did their jobs, it would have been a different game.

Just say it. You need someone to whack Miles' ego.

In seriousness - I agree. Its been a problem since he received the 2011 AP Coach of the Year award.

This may be the only active thread of reason right now. Game plan was fine. It has and will continue to win many games for us. We just plain got beat up front
