I chime in every once in a while, but I don't often ask for help. Often asking for more and more advice can sometimes make decisions even harder. Stick the the gut sort of thing.

But I got myself into a predicament of slightly epic proportions, and I'm stuck. So let's look at the team: STANDARD SCORING

QBs: Kaepernick, Romo
WRs: B. Marshall, W. Welker, Victor Cruz, T. Williams, Josh Gordon
RBs: Adrian Peterson, Giovanni Bernard, CJ Spiller, M. Asiata, Donald Brown
TE: Greg Olsen
K: Justin Tucker
DEF: San Francisco

Week 3 Starters in bold, problems in italics

So here's what happened: First, I had to autodraft half of the draft, so although I started out "strong" with Peterson, Bernard, Marshall, etc. I went auto in Round 6 and autodrafted Welker. Downhill from there.

Things were looking good though, strong performances from Bernard, only Welker down....so someone in my league drops Gordon. I'm confident after week 1 that I can make the right moves and compete, so Gordon is a good stash. Pick him up and drop the extra defense. Three Days Later...AP hits. Drop a TE backup pick up Asiata. This week I was low on waiver due to all the action with AP and trying to cover so although I put in for Davis and Bradshaw, I end up with Brown. Not bad, but only good for the next 4 weeks or so.

I can't tell if I should drop Peterson. I think I should drop Gordon and Grab Brian Quick, maybe? And I can drop Asiata and pick up McKinnon as a risk, or K. Robinson for another at least sure thing for 4-6 weeks. But none of that is solid or worthwhile.

Romo is Romo. If I drop him and pick up a Dalton or Locker, I'm sure Romo puts up 35 points. Both my QBs were autodrafted and it's a complete crapshoot week to week about who will put up points. Although I started Romo is 1 and Kaep in 2, so I played smart...or lucky, depends on how you look at it.

And clearly starting with week 4 I'll have to spin through byes at all my single player spots. I know that's coming.

Sitting at 2-0, hoping to make the year respectable at least. Competing for the championship might be out of reach.

Anyways, thoughts? What would the FB do?

I would probably look to drop Gordon for McKinnon. You should hold Asiata and see if either of those two guys emerge and get the bulk of the work. At this point, you almost have to keep Peterson and wait it out, too.

I would also consider dropping Romo for a WR like Quick. If a guy like Dalton is available to pick up right now, that tells me there should be a few decent QBs available should you need one. If no one owns Dalton, then surely no one will pick up Romo if you were to drop him. You can probably come back and get him if need be. That said, I would almost rather Dalton over both of your guys at this point.

My next move would be to drop down to 1 qb. It will give you at least a little breathing room to see what things look like in a week. After that unfortunately Gordon is the next one that needs to go if you need further room. I would try to push that off while waiting for news and seeing who else is worth keeping.
