Yeah and you have to factor in how long it takes to get there as well, so would have to stay there long enough to make it worth it. I think flights alone would cost 3-4K for two people.

If I remember right it is about 18 hours to bora bora, but there is day change

You have to do 10 days or so to do French Polynesia. Great trip though. I want to go back to Bora Bora and do the Cook Islands.

If Swiss Family Crickets is flying that far, we are in the leather. No coach. Sadly, 3-4k won't cover that.

Living in DFW, we are beholden to AA's AAdvantage program and using miles for 1st class flights for that distance typically blows. Usually cover one leg then pay for the remainder.

Dammit.
