I always just pay someone holding a $20 parking sign in front of their house or business.

The levee lots are on River Road, near the softball fields.

Yeah, I just checked the parking map link on pg. 1. If I'm interpreting it correctly, you need to park in the north side of the north levee lot to contraflow back toward downtown, if that's what the arrows mean. Amirite?

That's how I interpreted it. Although, I'm not sure what that means as far as getting to it. I was planning to head south down River Rd from downtown.

Just pay 20 bucks to park in the private yards off Nicholson. Traffic is contraflowed back to I-10 after the game. Getting in and out is a breeze. They'll still have parking available at 4:30 but you may have to park at the back of the lot.

ETA: this is for off Nicholson between the north gate and I-10.

between the northgate and i-10, what side streets? sounds like the best idea getting there that late.

we talking like aster and that area or closer to the NG?

Several people allow people to pay to park in their yards and parking lots between W. Johnson and Aster. The biggest lot is by W. Johnson. I got to the game last weekend around 4:30 and parked there. I've done this several times when I had to get out there late and have never had any issues. The traffic will be contraflowed back to I-10 after the game so it doesn't matter which side you park on although obviously parking on the northbound side will make getting out of the lot easier. You can't go towards campus due to the contraflow, but you can take the road from Nicholson that crosses Highland by the BRCC building back to the onramp for eastbound I-10 since you need to go back towards Ascension after the game. Or you can cut through downtown after the game and hop on I-110. There are several different ways to get on eastbound, but I honestly couldn't tell you which is better as I always go westbound back across the river.

According to google maps, W. Johnson is 0.9 miles from Mikes cage.

So if I'm leaving Ascension, in the dead center of Gonzales, at say, 3-4ish, what would be the best route to take out there? I usually go straight from 74 to hwy 30 -> Nicholson but I'm usually out there way earlier than this. If I went that way would I run into standstill traffic on hwy30/nicholson at that time making me later? Or do I hit i-10 and get off around dalrymple or washington, etc? and come the other way... I live off of 621 so I can easily do either.

And we talking $20 or do they get higher? doesn't matter just want to have the right amount of cash on me that night.

Take I-10 to Washington and take Louis and Oklahoma to Nicholson. I don't know how I-10 will be at that time coming from your way, but Nicholson will be pretty easy to travel. Last weekend it took me 15 minutes from I-10 to park. Although that was a small crowd. I still can't see it taking much longer than that for landmass state.
