Lots of people bought into this neighborhood right after Katrina. Assuming they didn’t stay forever, that likely means lots of those houses became higher end rentals, which a lot of people seem to be dumping in that area now.
The inventory for 3BR 2BA starter homes went up tenfold in the last 90 days. I know the pain because I’m selling too.
