My uncle (a "hard-case") tried to inject logic one time with Grandpa ... so I am told. He tried this on Grandpa: "Well, if it's gonna hurt you, and I know it's gonna hurt me ... then why don't we just forget about the whole thing?"
So say ... Grandpa was not amused.
