As mentioned, "Pink Houses" is part of the chorus. He probably didn't realize how iconic the lyrics "Ain't That America" would become.

And "Ain't that America" is part of the chorus three times.

I mean, it's his song and he can name it whatever he wants, but I'd be a liar if I said I didn't share the OP's views that the song is not appropriately titled.

Same goes for the song that should have been name "Teenage Wasteland".

Musicians being all contrarian and shite.
