Break the huddle
OL jogs up to the line
They put their hand down in unison and snap the ball
Like they are "rolling" at the DL
You are supposed to be "set" for a second before you can snap the ball
It becomes a game between the center and the officials to see how close they are going to call it
If they let them get away with little or no pause then it is like the OL has a moving head start coming at the DL. That is an enormous advantage for the OL
Acadiana and John Curtis are great at the rolling start, especially while using it with the veer

Never paid much attention to that but I can see the edge it would give.
