If you're interested, Michigan fans have been discussing Miles in the context of Hoke getting canned:

That thread is actually what got me thinking about the unlikely scenario of miles leaving.

Reading now. I hope we keep Les, but if we don't I want to lose him this year, rather than holding on to him for another two or three and missing a Dantonio.

If we had to have a coaching search at the end of the season "we" (the rant) would have a bunch of posts like this:

"alright, I wasn't planning on saying anything but I feel safe enough now after the latest news has come out to say that my cousin works in the athletic admin office and about 4 weeks ago there was a meeting held between Joe Alleva, Les Miles, and various members of TAF to discuss potential replacements for Les in the event of his departure - this is a fact as nothing has come out against this yet. A few other guests were in and out of the building in the following days all driving nice rental vehicles. I traced these vehicles back to Hertz at the airport, where, as it turns out my sister works as Assistant to the Manager. She said they had an awful lot of "high profile" type people coming in lately, but she's not a football fan so she has no idea. I asked her to look up the names of the transactions and she replied back with 'Gruden, Briles, Harbaugh, Payton, Saban, Meyer, Ditka, Bryant, Lombardi, Rockne, Paterno, and Bellicheck'. Take that fwiw."
