Even if I were to become insanely wealthy, this is the one luxery I'd forego. Financial commitment aside, I'll take the safety record of the commericial air industry over that of private flights any day. I'll have to make due with Delta's shitty lounges and shitty first class for my perks.

Flown on quite a few, mainly supercubs, Aviat Huskys, 150s, 172, 206, DHC-2 and DHC-3. I owned a 172 that I bought for less than $25k and was in an a 206 with 4 other guys for a couple of years, but those are expensive to maintain.
There was a Russian guy here last week with a 300 million dollar yacht and a 158 million Boeing business class private jet. Basically a 737.
