I would definitely ask the doctor about the inhaler and breathing treatments. I didn't really feel like it was helping me at the time, but it did go away within a couple of weeks of that. And (knock on wood), I haven't had any issues since. I can tell you I am QUICK to jump on some Mucinex the minute I think I feel chest congestion now. Four mos of coughing is a real bitch! Takes the fun out of everything
