re: Can't shake a cough

I have something similar myself. It's really irritating because it doesn't behave like a normal postnasal/sinus infection with chest congestion.

I have no fever and very little sinus congestion at all. But I have a nagging cough. It attacks mostly when I breathe deep and exhale or when i laugh or bend forward suddenly. This shite has been around since the end of July.

I tried all the usual meds... OTC Mucinex, Allegra, etc... it's still hanging in there.

When the cough produces mucus, it's clear. No nasty shite.

I'm at wit's end. If not for its persistent quality, it would hardly be anything worth going to the doctor for.
