Damn!
First time I flew into LAX I got off the plane, got in my rental car and headed east. Took an exit to get directions and when I called the local office and told them I was in the town of Compton, they were almost hollering, "Get back in your car Now! GTF out of there." It was only then did I notice the unfriendly looks that I was getting.
I didn't ask any more questions...
