My post was honestly in response to this

quote:

The Falcons are not that good a team. The Saints lack of a pass rush made them look good.

Either he is trolling (which he is), or he is also saying the Saints are not a good team because of the lack of pass rush from the Falcons.

Falcons had even less of a pass rush and Brees didn't carve up our D like Matt did to the Saints.

Falcons actually generated pretty good pressure.

Brees was just 10/11 in those situations.

We lost the game by missing 23 tackles. For reference, we missed 77 last season.

Matt Ryan was a beast yesterday. I didn't know he could move like that

I don't think it's illogical to say that the Saints defense has a higher ceiling than the Falcons. Our lack of pass rush was surprising

Well, to be honest, really only Paul Soliai got any real pressure. Pushed yall center back 5 yards every play.
However, we still ended the day with 0 sacks and 0 qb hits. Our pass rush was almost not there.

I don't think anyone did. It is a good thing he worked on his feet though. Besides Peyton, all the top qb's in the league (Brees, Rodgers) are quick on their feet.

Y'all sacked him once, but it was illegal hands to the face

Y'all used blitzes and it wasnt effective. We are supposed to be able to generate pressure with our front 4

I think he was a big reason our rush looked bad.

If y'all protect him like that, we might have toughest division in football

Honestly, even if we both make it to the playoffs, neither team will be able to beat Seattle if our defense's play like they did yesterday.

I guess the only real difference is that our fans will be more than thrilled to even make the playoffs, which even with a win still looks like a tough challenge.

I'm praying that was a fluke.

Vaccaro missed more tackles yesterday than last season.

I'm just not to sure why the safeties were playing so far away from the line of scrimmage. I get that they wanted to prevent a deep throw, but it seems like it left a lot of room for players to make moves instead.

At least you are a consistent deluded homer.

I say:
Saints 11-5
Panthers 10-6
Falcons 8-8
Bucs 6-10

Saints D sucks as bad as the Falcons, but they will score more consistently because they can run the ball at least a little bit.

The Saints aren't that good a team. The Falcons lack of a pass rush made them look good.

The Falcons will score points but if they do not solve their problems on D they can forget about a playoff bye and will struggle for the division title against Carolina

I didn't catch all the witty nuances the first time around, but the Joycean repetition of a second post illuminated the brilliance of both your overall concept and detailed execution.
