Nice bunch of birds there!
I got skunked this morning, in more than one way. First there was someone already in the spot I wanted.
There were just about zero birds this morning. I really only saw 10 or fewer wood ducks that were all too far.
Then I discovered that the stink I had been smelling was not the mud but a dead possum in the root ball I was sitting on.
Just awesome! I was back at the truck at 8:10am.
