I am sure it is in both text and email forms. Call someone or email someone you are sure are with them.

The one with the text gives you a link to some random website along the lines of www.randomwebsite.com/sales/capital-one-security. When you click it you get redirected to another website that has you log in to capital one and then asks for basically every piece of information you might need. SSN, address, mothers maiden name, card PIN. You can tell its a scam because you can literally use anything for a username and password.
