From my understanding, it goes much further than just finding a single cure for the cancer gene. I could be wrong but I'm under the impression the cure wouldn't be some one size fits all dose.

I'm 29. I started getting worried about cancer treatments that progressing fast enough to my liking when I realized that they still put fingers up your butt for prostate.
I was hoping I'd avoid both entirely, but its starting to look dim on the near horizon.
