Reagan sure showed them, by pulling out without retaliating whatsoever for the attack. The Jersey showed up and it wasn't for months before she fired 40 percent of her shells into Lebanon some missing targets and killing civilians.

That's what he did before the barracks were bombed, not after. The USS New jersey is what caused the Marines to get killed in the first place.
