I wouldn't have much of an issue with it if this was the first time he decided to take a shot at LSU on national television.

On balance, Musberger has been pretty favorable to LSU over the years when he covers them. Now he'll usually fawn over the home team slightly when he's in town, but that doesn't bother me.
And it's true, he's considered one of the best in the business who's moving toward the end of his career. If not for the SEC contract (which was a huge "get" for that network), he'd be calling the major national night game.
