This is true on OL, but these guys did well last year minus Turner. Yes he was good, still, I think they probably went in thinking they would dominate. I've seen people say Hoko did very well this game and Ethan played and did well. So the only component that was missing was Porter. Yes constant run blitzes and a shifting defensive front clearly confused us.

Grimes was supposed to improve on something that wasn't broken. All OLs who played last year with significant snaps played including Pocic, other than Turner and Porter..

I did like that after the win he reached out to each OL and hugged them and he is a good recruiter from what I can see. They look a bit confused for awhile. but a win is a win.

Badgers took us by surprise for 3 quarters with run blitzes, shifts, etc... I'm much more worried in the long haul about our DTs and the LBs as a whole.

The center is usually the guy communicating the alignments to the rest of the line to make sure everyone is on the same page on protections and schemes. Pocic, starting his first game, seemed to take a while to get into the swing of it, but he did in the end.

Having Porter back will probably help as much with that as it will with the leverage at the nose of the defense. Who really knows, though? Pocic may calm down a bit and get into a rhythm. Either way, I'm really not as concerned about the o-line as I thought I would be after the 1st half.
