Surprised this hasn't been mentioned more. We all know what kind of gun Mett has and Mett was never this accurate deep. Some guys can drop it into a bucket and some guys can't. We need to pay attention to what this kid does well because there's plenty of it. He also doesn't seem to get rattled. Things weren't going well for a while but he made a few big time throws when we needed it. I feel way better about the receivers also. Diarse and Dural are obviously better than I imagined but everyone looked capable.

And remember that the secondary for UW was supposed to be the best part of their returning D. Diarse, Dural, Quinn, Dupre and even Leslie have track speed to go with fine WR ability. The next few weeks you'll see much work on the short, touch passing game, but the Tigers will likely continue to throw 3-5 deep balls a game as both young QB's have strong arms. This offense will wind up averaging over 400 ypg when all is said and done.
