Jennings First Half versus Jennings Second Half

I like how some fans are saying we were way too conservative in the first half and opened it up in the second half, yet we threw 15 passes in the first and 6 in the second.

The formations opened it up with less I formation, but on straight play calls we were less wide open.

It just shows how much many fans on here don't know about football.

very true. however what formations were the 6 in the second half thrown out of? I remember a few being 3 WR formations. I thought running and throwing out of those was really good.

The game for Jennings could have been better or worse. I still give him and the Tigers a lot of credit for not giving up. 0 INT is always a plus. First game of the season, and they managed to hit the "low" and hit the "high" as well. Young team but with a lot of talent. After watching them, I believe that this team will surprise a lot of people. Now, can someone tell me why people are predicting that we will lose against Florida???

I don't know what you're trying to prove here. You don't have to pass more to "open up" the offense. I would say spreading the defense like we did in the second half was less conservative even if we ran the ball more.
