Someone with better knowledge on this matter can certainly correct my following comment if it is wrong.

I seem to remember that all of the leaders in power during the Arab Spring were pretty secular and kept the Muslim Fundamentalists in check. Obama verbally encouraged and supported the overthrow of these individuals in the name of democracy but by doing so it also opened the doors for the fundamentalists to seize control.

I posted a video of his UN speech the other day proclaiming support for the Arab Spring. The typical boot lickers proceeded to rip me a new one about it.

They just can't admit their boy fricked up. I mean it's ok to admit that he's not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Most everyone I know that supported Bush admits that he made a mistake in Iraq. Ya'll put your big boy pants on and just admit he made a mistake. It's ok.
