no offense, but do listen to any digital music not from a CD?

Yes. I buy from HDtracks.com. I also have shitty MP3s that I will listen to before buying an album. I'm on the road all the time so I just pop in the store any buy the cd. I don't have the time or energy to dedicate to ripping my cd collection.

you know you can put those CDS in your computer and transfer the songs to your phone very easily on itunes

Sounds like extra work that I don't want to do. Oh yeah, get off my lawn!

my CD collection is in boxes in the back of my closet.

i haven't cracked it open in years.

yet every track of every CD i own is at my fingertips anywhere..anytime..anyplace.

a small price to pay was the one time ripping process to get everything digitized.

i do the same with DVDs/BD disks. who wants to be stuck in 1995 building shelves for a bunch of shite to clutter your living room when that can live on a hard drive somewhere in your house?
