you don't have to stream the songs. you can just download the songs and put them on your phone. Welcome to the 2000's

do you really still use CDs?

i just answered right above you.

lossless is lossless and compressed is compressed.

if you can truly tell the difference between 320 and FLAC i would LOVE to meet you.

now, depending on your data connection, the streaming quality could be reduced.

in the case of google at least, they're very VERY good (too good) at grabbing your entire queue and caching it while you're on WIFI or LTE so there's a huge huge buffer going on and almost no chance of playback hiccups.

pandora gonna pandora. their quality is 'meh' but they're also listing to port. they may be the next 'big' internet company to go under.
