Is it when a player is accused? Arrested? Convicted?

A bright-line rule is stupid, IMO. How about Goodell not be a fricking idiot and be able to use rationale discretion. If it is a War Machine situation it shouldn't take two times to get banned for life. If a player is legitimately acting in self-defense and things get out of hand while doing so...

oh yeah you can guarantee they're gonna have situations arise where they are hamstrung by the policy, one way or another.

Shocking lack of common sense with NFL execs.

Goodell is the most reactionary person in a position of power ever.

He constantly comes with heavy handed bullshite stances on shite after that fact.

I loathe him.

come on bruh, it's entirely up to the discretion of Godfather Goodell. Every time he gets more power it always makes the NFL better.

Apparently they didn't go full retard:

quote:

Offenders will be suspended six games for a first offense, and receive an indefinite ban for a second, with the ability to apply for reinstatement after one year.

In fairness, he's proven to be rather incompetent at this too.
