I like to drink when I fly. Just me.
Free Liquor makes it better.
nothing beats taking off with a buzz already.
The second flight on my leg, there were 11 big guys in first class and one pissy Egyptian guy in row 5 (first row of steerage class). We all "had the talk" that was funny but I was down he was so loud on his phone the entire time in the terminal I couldn't hear a thing. Then to have him cursing and yelling in Arabic or something. Also our attendant looked like Chris Tucker and had us cracking up the whole time.
My first time on US Airways. Two hour plus delays, but the upgrade to seats 2a and later 2f were worth it.

The service is nice, I'm not saying it isn't. Just don't feel the need to pay for it. The room and convenience are what makes the upgrade worn it. And drunk flying is MUCH better than sober flying.
