It actually is a fantastic city to visit and live, regularly making the top 10 of the "most livable/best place to live" type rankings. A very pretty city with offerings on par with cities much larger in size. And the university is right on the lake nestled next to downtown.

Agreed, Madison is a very nice city. I went there for work a while back and really liked it. It's sort of like Boulder, but without the pretentious snobbery.

But regardless of how nice of a place it is, I want Wisconsin to lose (and lose very badly) tomorrow.

Boulder Tiger, here. There is NO comparison between Madison and Boulder! We get much less snow, rarely get in the single digits in the dead of winter, no one eats cheese here, and very few people here care about football outside of the Broncos, especially not college football. And, yes, some folks here are snobby, but most are very friendly and will talk your ear off about the latest gluten-free items at Whole Foods or the new titanium derailer they just acquired for their $5000 bicycle. Baton Rouge and Boulder are more alike than Madison. Please do not EVER equate Boulder with any town in the frozen tundra of the Midwest!
