That's the general idea, haha. Less does make for a more active/competitive rut for the bucks, which is good for all of us hunters!

I was looking at a camp down in Avoyelles parish and I was standing in the front yard talking to the property owner. A huge cow horn spike (easily 2.5 to 3 yrs old and I swear the tines were 12+ inches long) comes running down the road. I looked at the guy and said "that's a huge deer its a shame he has such bad genetics". The guy then tells me "I'll guarantee you he will be atleast a 6 pt. next year." I didn't really know what to say
