really wouldn't be the way to go for several reasons. The Airport Express would be a better solution. It would both create the wi-fi network you'd need and provide analog audio out to stream via AirPlay. Bluetooth would probably be a little easier.
Not sure what your budget is, but I'd go with an entry level mixer with an XLR bluetooth adapter as one of the inputs. Then you could plug a mic in and have drunk frat boys try to rap at the tailgate...
