Coke cleans bugs off of car windows. I imagine it would clean toilets.
Can't imagine what it does to a person's insides...

I've cleaned them with baking soda solution which not only cleans but actually neutralizes the acid that caused the corrosion in the first place. Why would you use something acidic to clean up an issue cause by acid?

Not sure how that's any less expensive than toilet cleaner.
$1.25 coke bottle? Nah. I'll stick with clorox

Basically what I was wondering. Is there anything special in Coke that does a fantastic cleaning job on toilet. Just curious if anyone had tried it. Guess I'll have to experiment.

Absolutely nothing unless you are drinking a lot of it and frequently. At which point the sugar you are getting is probably more of a problem.

The easiestand best way to clean your toilet is by using those little sandpaper sheets from the hardware store. Just cut them into smaller squares.
Not a great idea, it may seem nice at first because it'll clean it faster and better than ever, however you're sanding micro abrasions into slick enamel so the scum builds up much faster and deeper and starts taking away the enamel.
Why would anyone want to scrub micro abrasions into slick enamel?

No, and it does a worse job than vinegar if you are hanging your hat that it is the acidity that's cleaning the toilet. The toilet cleaner you buy at the store is about 3% glycolic acid which is quite a bit stronger than the 0.2% and 0.3% phosphoric and citric acid a coke contains. Most of the acidity of a coke is in the carbonic acid which is a weak acid and normal soda water has plenty of that.

Why not? It cleans the frick out of battery terminals.
I learned in jr high that things are acid or basic based on their pH level. You don't clean acid with acid. You clean acid with a base. People assume coke does the job because it fizzes, but coke fizzes when it touches the inside of a clean glass... Now baking soda mixed with water is a great battery cleaner because it is a base.
